I've been waiting, I've been waiting for the time when your hands, your hips, your lips, your face, your touch, your skin... you would be all mine. I've been waiting for the the time when we both would understand that the heart I thought I lost so long ago, it's waiting, it's resting in your hands.

But it doesn't work that way.
That's what you said to me.
It may be what you think you feel but it's not what I see.
And if you stick around, what will be will be.

So I find myself, despite myself, I find I'm waiting, for the time when you'll change, you'll flip, you'll turn, you'll flip, you'll turn, you'll change your mind. And I follow you these days, I hang on you, just waiting, waiting for that sign that it's your heart that's been made the fool, and it wasn't mine.

But it doesn't work that way.
That's what you said to me.
I thought I told you once before that you're not the one for me and if you're in love, then that's sad to see.

So I've been waiting, I've been standing here just waiting for the time when your hands, your hips, your lips, your face, your touch, your skin... you would be all mine. I've been waiting for the the time when we both would understand that it's your heart, it's my heart, they're waiting, they're resting in our hands.

But it hasn't changed, that's what I can see. I've been waiting like a fool, while you never, ever, ever thought of me. I guess that has to be unresolved.
